使用 Microsoft Windows Server 2003 中的“备份”实用程序同时备份 Exchange Server 2003 信息存储区和 Windows 系统状态数据时，备份操作不能成功完成。Windows 事件查看器的“应用程序”日志中将记录以下事件 ID 错误信息：<br>

出现此现象的原因是“备份”实用程序将激活所有卷阴影复制 (Volume Shadow Copy) 服务备份写入程序，包括用于 Exchange Server 2003 的备份写入程序。因此，即使 Exchange Server 2003 未被选择为卷阴影复制备份的组件，Exchange Server 2003 也将处于“正在进行备份”的状态。直到备份操作完成后，“备份”实用程序才会将 Exchange Server 2003 从“正在进行备份”的状态释放。 <br>

“备份”实用程序不使用“卷阴影复制”服务来备份 Exchange Server 2003 信息存储区。“备份”实用程序使用 Exchange Server 2003 联机备份流式处理 API 来备份 Exchange Server 2003 信息存储区。由于“卷阴影复制”服务已经锁定了 Exchange Server 2003 信息存储区以进行备份，因此该流式处理 API 无法绑定到数据库。结果，您就会遇到本文的“症状”部分中所描述的症状。 <br>

钉子，你好，我服务器备份最近出现该问题，通过搜索找到这里，以前备份都没出现问题，就这两天，备份失败，期间没有改过任何设置。我每天都会用NTBack和VERITAS Backup Exec 10.0 for Windows Servers来备份系统状态和Exchange2003存储，以前都没什么问题，就最近突然出现失败，而且两个备份软件都是在备份邮件存储时出错，NTBack错误跟一楼一样，VERITAS Backup Exec日志提示比较多，我会贴在楼下，全是英文，大概是跟Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)有关。网上搜索，有说把邮箱存储很卸载再挂上，还有就是微软KB的说法，要系统状态和存储分开备份，但是以前都是一起备份也没出问题啊，我打算晚上将服务器重启试下
