为什么在XP下不能安装exchange 2000

我的系统是Windows xp profession ,我想安装一个exchange 2000,准备工作时安装了一个IIS，但不知为什么总是提示这个对话框，具体如下：<br>
我的选取的是TYPICAL：<br>出现的对话框是，Mutiple components cannot be assigned the requestted actions bcause:<br>
-setupis unable to access the windows 2000 Active Directory<br>
-failed to look up the windows 2000 domain to which this computer belongs,please verity that your computer is in a windows 2000 domain<br>
the compnent "microsoft exchange messaging and collaboration services " cannot be assigned the action intall,because:<br>
- the nntp component of microsoft internet information service (iis) is not installed <br>
-you must logon using a windows 2000 account to install microsoft exchange 2000<br>这是要安装什么啊， 所有的服务我都已打开了，而且IIS我也安装了， 我不知道还有什么要设置，请大家帮帮忙吧。

噢，明白了，也就是说exchange 2K 一定得在 服务器下安装。那我就换过另一个OS就是了，谢谢大家！！

LZ的光盘100%属于D版。所有的D版软件都会写“本软件适用于WIN95/98/2000/XP”奇怪它怎么没写2003？<br>

难道是EXCHANGE 2000 不能安装在XP上？我的那张光盘明明写得是运行于WINDOWS95/98/2000/XP，难道他们是不是兼容的问题吗？我之前在WINDOS 2000下也试过了也是出现同样的问题。

EXCHANGE一定要求要在服務器下安裝,要有SMTP服務

xp不是服务器啊，有这个专门的管理工具吗？我的是XP专业版呢，一定要使用CUSTOM？

XP是服务器系统吗？你只能在XP上装管理工具，请使用CUSTOM。
