1）MDaemon does not currently support Windows clustering, sorry.<br>

2）I actually have this working now with the cluster based on File Share,<br>
and Generic Windows Service. You need to separate your mail data from<br>
your application files (have c partition for OS, D for Mdaemon App, and<br>
M cluster drive for data such as user mail, public folders, etc...).<br>
Use replication with robocopy for your dat files, but maintain separate<br>
ini files for Mdaemon. You will need to use Mapped drives on each<br>
cluster member for the data since Mdaemon does not seem to want to play<br>
nice with UNC paths for data locations. Took a bit of trial and error<br>
to set up but it is all working now. Mdaemon is not cluster aware but<br>
the OS and File System are so it all works out. You can set a number of<br>
dependencies but the share and the generic service are sufficient. If<br>
the share fails, or the mdaemon service crashes there is a grace period<br>
to allow a restart to happen and then a fail-over to the other standby<br>
node. The IP and cluster name get transferred to the other node<br>
immediately and everything starts working again. Also make sure you set<br>
up the Network Service in Mdaemon as a Domain Account that has proper<br>
permissions on each node in your cluster. I just have 2 that share an<br>
attached RAID array which is also configured in cluster mode.<br>
Optionally, you can sit this behind a load-balancer for better HA.<br>

关键是全自动的群集，也就是说，当nodea出现故障，nodeb继续工作，并且MD也自动工作。<br>
使用普通的方法，能够保障用户目录实现群集，但是账号设置却很难。因为账号和其他设置使用的文件方式保存，我们需要将MD安装在*享盘中，而nodea和nodeb同时开启的时候，只有一个节点有控制权，那么必然导致另外一个节点的MD运行失败。所以还有需要考虑解决的问题。作者: cfang 时间: 2005-3-7 14:46 标题: re:留个名，下次好找 留个名，下次好找
