E-mail Administrator
Responsibilities
Customer Service: Under general direction provides support. Conveys a helpful attitude. This includes Tier 2/3 support for standard and non-standard services, equipment, etc.
Communication: Confers with end users to understand needs. Conveys information clearly and effectively verbally and in written format.
Problem Resolution: Responds promptly to incidents. Provides basic solutions to routine issues based on prescribed guidelines or procedures. Escalates as necessary in a timely manner.
Training: Provides training to Help Desk team members.
Project Participation: Monitors projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget.
Asset Management: Follows standards for securing new equipment and retiring old equipment while support company philosophies for cost effectiveness. Contributes to maintenance inventory records.
Disaster Recovery: Documents recovery procedures and test objectives. Participates in scheduled testing.
Vendor Management: Assists as needed with development and review of RFPs.
Judgment/Decision Making: Accountable for making decisions in line with long-term corporate goals and industry trends. Views risk of decisions in light of organizations tolerance.
Requirement:
•Minimum 2 years experience working with email technologies (Exchange and LotusNotes) in a global environment.
•Familiar with Blackberry, PDAs
•Exposure to Anti-Virus, Spam, Directory Sync and Sametime (messaging service)
•Advanced exposure to Internet mail technologies
